About Us
Welcome to ComposiMold.com, a part of Wizbe Innovations LLC. Wizbe Innovations was started in 2003 with a focus on material science research and development programs. We started ComposiMold.com to focus on the development of heat formable composites for your hobbies, crafts, and arts applications.
My first mold making experience. It’s over 25 years old. I took pieces of balsa wood and made a little stick figure that I then I tried to make a mold with it. The silicone mold was bad when I made it, and it’s still a bad mold that I will never make a casting out of again. Why do I keep it?
As a reminder of what mold making used to be like.
I used to be so afraid of wasting my mold making material and casting materials that I wouldn’t use them and they would go bad because of a shelf life! When it cost $100 for a kit that you can only use once, I was cautious! This is not the best way to learn a new hobby.
I’m glad it’s not that way anymore. -Stan Farrell
It is our goal to provide you with the mold making and casting tools to make your ideas into actuality. The products we produce and sell are meant to be idea enhancers. To put in another way, we want to allow you to be more creative in what you make and to give you more tools to make your ideas.
ComposiMold's name is derived from composites and molding. Composites are materials that have improved properties by combining together two or more materials. The materials are combined together to create a synergistic improvement compared to the individual components. So ComposiMold is the use of composites to make a better mold making material.
A little about us:
Stan Farrell stan@ComposiMold.com
Stan, President of ComposiMold, was educated in material science and has been researching advanced composites for the past 12 years. The idea for the composite mold making material initially came from his inability to find a better material for making model airplane components. From there, he developed the ComposiMold and other ideas have grown. We expect more composite products will come as ComposiMold grows.
